About Saint Laurent’s Most Pro-new Product

Saint Laurent came out with an extremely successful product this week – so successful, in fact, that it’s already sold out. This means that the brand has finally found a niche and will be able to maintain its success for the foreseeable future.

What is this incredible new product? It’s lipstick! The color of the lipstick is called “Rouge Louboutin” which is a homage to famed designer Christian Louboutin who died earlier this year from cancer. It’s a deep red with a slight shimmer in it.

The lipstick was the brainchild of Hedi Slimane, the designer at Saint Laurent. He described the lipstick as “bold and beautiful” but didn’t reveal whether or not he had any plans on creating more colors or any other products in the near future.

The lipstick is priced at $32 (€30) and was available for purchase on the brand’s website for a limited time.

This product launch is yet another example of how Saint Laurent has continued to find success. Originally the brand was created by Yves Saint Laurent in 1961, and after his death in 2008 it was revived by Hedi Slimane under his direction.

Yves Saint Laurent had always been a huge fan of the shoe industry and was known for wearing and designing different kinds of shoes. With this new lipstick, he continues to stay true to the tastes that grew him into a designer icon.
